At the Plastics Recycling Show Europe recycling machinery manufacturer EREMA was honoured with the Plastics Recycling Award in the “Recycling Machinery Innovation” category. The award was presented for the VOLEX technology, with which EREMA has significantly improved degassing performance in mechanical plastics recycling.

The award recognises a technological innovation that responds to increasing requirements placed on recycled materials for demanding applications. The jury praised the remarkable innovation, which allows to achieve a high level of degassing performance: the VOC (volatile organic compounds) content in the recycled pellets is up to 40 per cent lower than that achieved with INTAREMA® TVEplus® degassing system and up to 75 per cent lower than that of the input material. At the same time, fogging effects – particularly relevant in injection moulding – are significantly reduced.

“We are delighted to receive this award. With the VOLEX technology, we are addressing concrete market requirements in post-consumer recycling that arise from the PPWR and other regulatory frameworks,” says Clemens Kitzberger, Business Development Manager at the EREMA Group, who accepted the award in Amsterdam. “What is crucial is the ability to implement high regranulate qualities in a scalable and economically viable way. We see clear added value for our customers in being able to supply more recycled content for higher-value end products.”

Since its market introduction, VOLEX has been further optimised. The technology is available with or without water injection, enabling recycling companies to select the most suitable configuration for their specific requirements.

Award ceremony at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2026 in Amsterdam: Clemens Kitzberger (centre),
Business Development Manager Post Consumer at the EREMA Group, accepted the Plastics Recycling
Award Europe 2026 for the VOLEX technology.
Significantly higher degassing performance in post consumer recycling

VOLEX technology reduces VOCs by 40 percent

EREMA is launching VOLEX technology at K 2025 as a quantum leap in plastics extrusion.
This innovation sees water stripping technology installed on a single-screw extruder for the
first time without compromising throughput or output quality. Made possible by proven
INTAREMA® TVEplus® technology combined with a specially developed extruder screw and
cylinder geometry in the degassing zone. EcoGentle® plasticising technology is also new for
INTAREMA® systems, so it is now available for polyolefins as well.

Ansfelden/Düsseldorf, 9 October 2025 – The EREMA stand showcases an INTAREMA® 1108
TVEplus® equipped with the very latest technological innovations. Both of the new technologies are
aimed at further increasing the quality of recycled pellets and, at the same time, improving cost
effectiveness and process stability for recycling companies.

Degassing, but even better, with highly efficient water injection in the single screw extruder

The new VOLEX technology achieves impressive degassing performance with as much as
40 percent lower VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the final recycled pellets than with
INTAREMA® TVEplus® standard degassing, and up to 75 percent lower than the input material (in
accordance with VDA 277). Fogging effects, which can be an issue in injection moulding applications
for example, are significantly reduced. All this is achieved at a consistently high throughput without
compromising on the mechanical properties of the final product. To achieve this, water is added to
the plastic melt in precise doses and distributed evenly as an entraining agent. The prerequisite is
the use of proven INTAREMA® TVEplus® technology in combination with a specially developed
extruder screw and cylinder geometry in the degassing zone. “We didn’t invent water stripping – but
we have revolutionised it,” says Sophie Pachner, R&D Manager Process Engineering at EREMA.
“Only the INTAREMA® TVEplus® has the unique and proven Plus-Zone. This is located directly after
filtration, upstream of degassing, and it ensures extremely homogeneous mixing of the entrainer into
the plastic melt. The result is a really efficient stripping effect.”

An intelligent dosing and control concept injects the water into the Plus-Zone with precision. The
open-pored melt created by the evaporation of the water multiplies the exposed surface area of the melt a thousand-fold, shortening the diffusion paths to a minimum, and allowing VOCs and
condensable substances such as limonene to escape efficiently. Together with an increase in the surface renewal rate of up to 320 per cent and the high free volume, the optimum interplay that takes
place is a high-efficiency boost for degassing performance. VOLEX technology does not need any
additional melt lines, diverters or manifolds, significantly reducing the risk of black spots and
deposits. The result is a perfectly filtered and efficiently degassed melt, without compromising
throughput or quality.

EcoGentle® now also for polyolefins

Bringing EcoGentle® plasticising technology to the INTAREMA® series of recycling machines is
another update from EREMA. For VACUREMA® and VACUNITE® recycling systems that have been
in successful operation for years processing PET, EcoGentle® is now available for HDPE, LDPE, PP
and BOPET applications as well. Existing EREMA systems can be retrofitted with this technology.

In combination with proven Counter Current® technology, EcoGentle® ensures perfect interaction
between the intake section and the extruder screw. The material is melted particularly efficiently and
gently. At the same time, the temperature of the melt is much lower. Along with reduced energy
consumption and maximum flexibility in terms of the feed material, this process ensures particularly
gentle treatment of the plastic melt and produces recycled pellets with a higher quality.

In the post consumer segment, EcoGentle® enables the reliable processing of regrind material with
different bulk densities and viscosities. For multipurpose applications (HDPE and PP), the
plasticising technology lowers the temperature of the melt by up to 13 degrees Celsius and reduces
the power consumption of the extruder drive by up to six percent. In real life, this translates into
stable processes, less wear, longer component service life, and lower production costs. EcoGentle®
is also available starting immediately for inhouse recycling. With LDPE/LLDPE stretch film and with
BOPET film material, the temperature of the melt is as much as 20 degrees Celsius lower, while the
extruder drive consumes up to 15 percent less power.

The key components for EcoGentle® are made by 3S, a subsidiary of the EREMA Group. The
Austrian manufacturing specialist has many years of experience and extensive competence in the
production of extruder screws and cylinders, including for large plasticising units.

“EcoGentle® delivers particularly smooth and energy-efficient plasticising, and at K 2025 we are
pleased to bring the proven technology for PET bottle flakes to other material streams. The much
lower melt temperature has a positive effect on the quality of the melt and the quality of the final
recycled pellets,” says Huber-Lindinger. “EcoGentle® and VOLEX are two ground-breaking
technologies that open up more opportunities for high-value applications in recycling.

Edvanced Recycling powered by EREMA

The current campaign Edvanced Recycling – EREMA prime solutions for advanced recycling sees EREMA
present a wide range of advanced plastics recycling solutions. More than 40 years of experience
combined with practical application expertise are the basis for EREMA systems consistently delivering
high-quality recycled pellets to meet precise quality specifications, from food and cosmetic grade to
more straightforward applications.

The highest melt quality at the highest throughput

EREMA marca un nuevo estándar: la superficie del disco con filtro láser se duplica

At K 2025, EREMA launches a POWERFIL brand innovation that sets new standards in melt
filtration for plastics recycling. The new LF 812 high-performance filter has twice the screen
surface area of the previous premium model, the LF 406, extending the series upwards.
Another new feature is the integration of the proven Lock & Change system for changing
screens during operation in the Endurance filter, which handles the pre-filtration of heavily
contaminated input streams such as unwashed materials.

Ansfelden/Düsseldorf, 10 October 2025 – “This latest development in our laser filter sees us take a
decisive step towards meeting the growing demands for high throughputs in plastics recycling at the
same time as achieving the highest quality of melt,” says Markus Huber-Lindinger, Managing
Director at EREMA. The 100 percent larger screen surface of the new LF 812 laser filter boosts
throughput, or maintains throughput while using screens with finer filters, which is particularly
advantageous for quality-driven applications. Thanks to the larger surface area of the filter, it is also
possible to operate at lower pressure and with less thermal load.

Maximum screen area, minimum space requirement

Up to 5,000 kilogrammes of melt can be filtered per hour with the single version of the new laser
filter. “As a leading provider of plastics recycling machines, at EREMA we focus our experience and
technical expertise on equipping large-scale systems with high-performance filtration in a compact
design,” says Markus Huber-Lindinger. The single version of the LF 812 laser filter covers
applications with throughputs that previously required multiple filter units. “The major increase in
surface area opens up new scope for system design. In many cases, this results in smaller space
requirements and a more compact overall solution,” adds Robert Obermayr, Product Group Manager
for POWERFIL at EREMA.

This innovation sees EREMA continue its theme of increasing throughput: At K 2022, the company
presented the LF 406 laser filter with a screen area of almost 2,000 square centimetres; an increase
of 50 percent compared to the LF 356. The launch of the LF 812 increases the area of the screen
by a further 100 percent. Combined with the new INTAREMA® 2021 TVEplus®, which has a
throughput of up to 3.5 tonnes per hour, the potential of the new high-performance filter becomes
clear: now the system can operate with one continuous extruder without a cascade configuration.

The prerequisite for this is the new LF 812 size of EREMA laser filter, which is available either as a
SINGLE version, or as a TWIN configuration for more demanding applications. EREMA generally
offers its laser filters as SINGLE, TWIN, TRIPLE, and QUATTRO versions. Which configuration is
ultimately the most suitable depends on each customer’s specific process requirements.

Lock & Change now integrated into the Endurance filter

What is also new at POWERFIL is the integration of the proven Lock & Change system into an
Endurance filter. The Endurance filter handles coarse pre-filtration and protects the laser filter when
processing unwashed material or input streams that are difficult to clean. Lock & Change makes it
possible to change the screen during operation without interrupting production. In combination with
the shut-off function on the Lock & Change system (available starting with the TWIN version), the
machine continues production even while one of the sets of screens is being changed. This
increases system uptime and contributes to stable process control with challenging material streams.

Like on this latest expansion, EREMA is constantly working on developing POWERFIL filtration
systems and matching them to customers’ specifications to reduce their ongoing operating costs
(OPEX). In spring 2024, the company launched the intelligent DischargePro control system for
automatically adapting to fluctuations in the input material. This has since become well established
in the field. Initial results indicate a significant reduction in material losses because the filter can be
operated more consistently. Depending on the system configuration and the material being recycled,
potential annual savings are between EUR 50,000 and 70,000.

Manufactured inhouse for the highest quality and supply chain security

High-quality, high-performance filters continue to gain in importance in plastics recycling. The
EREMA Group is responding to this by expanding inhouse manufacturing of filter components at 3S
in Wartberg, a company that is also part of the EREMA Group. Investments in new production and
heat treatment technologies increase vertical integration to ensure consistently high component
quality. That is how EREMA strengthens supply chain security for customers who rely on the
company’s recycling systems and components.

Edvanced Recycling shows how EREMA is working together with its
customers to sustainably increase the proportion of recycled materials used to make new plastic
products. Customers gain the advantage of a standardised
machine that can be used universally for multiple film and regrind applications. The heavy duty
version with EREMA laser filter is especially suitable for processing post consumer waste streams
and is available at a fixed price of EUR 440,000. The second version, equipped with an SW RTF®
screen changer system, is a flexible all-rounder for processing medium contaminated feed material
for an investment of EUR 375,000. Both configurations are equipped with an efficient multipurpose
extruder screw and achieve throughputs of 500 kilograms per hour.

Growing market presence in Europe and worldwide
Since its launch, the ReadyMac has continuously gained in market presence. Demand has increased
in particular following the relaunch at the end of 2024 and the introduction of the ReadyMac 500 HD
in early 2025. During the current financial year 2025/26, the number of new machines commissioned
has already reached double digits. Besides customers in Europe, companies in regions such as
South Africa and Latin America have also chosen to rely on ReadyMac.

“The feedback from the markets shows us that we are onto a winner with the ReadyMac”, says
Michael Köhnhofer, Head of Business Unit ReadyMac at EREMA. “Our customers appreciate the
combination of quick and easy availability at an attractive price, and proven EREMA quality. This is
something that appeals to many companies at a time when each investment needs to be evaluated
very carefully.”

Manfred Hackl, CEO at the EREMA Group, sees the ReadyMac as an optimum strategic addition:
“With the ReadyMac we are aiming to reach customers who are looking to enter plastics recycling with a reliable machine that is available quickly, rather than a custom-built solution. As a result, we
have yet again strengthened the portfolio of the EREMA group of companies.”

The success of the standardised machine is based on the proven extrusion system from EREMA
featuring TVE technology and the patented Preconditioning Unit (PCU). Ultimately, EREMA has
made reliable recycling technology more accessible to a wider circle of companies. On top of the
attractive fixed price and short delivery times, customers gain the advantage of the proven EREMA
after sales service package with rapid spare parts supplies and worldwide support.

AGGLOREMA prepares heavily contaminated plastic waste for chemical recycling

The new series of EREMA machines that produce agglomerates Plastics recycling

K 2025 sees EREMA launch the AGGLOREMA generation of machines, a new recycling
system specially developed for processing heavily contaminated post-consumer waste. The
machine processes film rejects with high levels of fluctuating moisture from sorting systems
on a large scale to produce agglomerates with a high bulk density that are an ideal feedstock
for chemical recycling, among other applications.

Ansfelden, 1 July 2025 – “It is our job to build machines that support chemical recyclers in the
recovery of low-grade waste fractions,” explains Klaus Lederer, Business Development Manager
Chemical Recycling at EREMA. Many chemical recycling plants require standardised, pourable input
material. “AGGLOREMA closes the gap between highly contaminated, heterogeneous and often
thin-film waste streams, and reliable feedstock for the reactor. This is a particularly robust and
energy-efficient system,” says Klaus Lederer. This series of machines complements the company’s
product portfolio for chemical recycling and aligns perfectly with the CHEMAREMA®.

High throughput with a high tolerance to contamination

AGGLOREMA processes heavily contaminated waste streams with a low bulk density (from
30 kg/m³) and moisture contents of up to 12 per cent. This is made possible by combining the
EREMA Preconditioning Unit (PCU) with patented Counter Current® technology and a specially
designed extruder screw. Even when the composition of the feed material varies greatly, for example
in terms of polymer, geometry and moisture, this combination ensures stable process control. The
material is homogenised, degassed, preheated, and continuously fed into a short extruder without
upstream drying. “Conventional agglomeration systems quickly reach their limits if the feed material
has a low bulk density or fluctuating parameters. This is not a problem for AGGLOREMA, however,
thanks to the advantages of the PCU and the robust design of the system,” says Klaus Lederer. He
sees a particular advantage in the scalability of the EREMA system. It handles up to 2.3 tonnes per
hour, with ample headroom to increase throughput.

From the extruder, the partially melted material strand is fed directly through a melt pipe into the
water-cooled melt mill. Here, it is formed into agglomerates with bulk densities of 280 to 380 kg/m³
and a defined particle size. Depending on the configuration, downstream drying can reduce the
residual moisture up to less than one percent. The process layout is deliberately kept straightforward and robust. The system capitalises on the advantages of extrusion, but significantly reduces process
temperature and energy consumption. “Our specially designed extrusion technology only inputs as
much energy as the material requires,” explains Klaus Lederer.

The AGGLOREMA can be used to prepare feedstock materials for chemical recycling as well as for
mechanical recycling. Agglomerates produced from mixed polyolefin fractions can be used in the
manufacture of simple components, for example.

CHEMAREMA® feeds melt directly into the reactor

In addition to the new AGGLOREMA system, EREMA also offers the CHEMAREMA® series, a
solution for chemical recycling in which the melt is fed directly into the reactor. In recent months, the
company has started up several CHEMAREMA® machines with throughputs of between 2 and
3.5 tonnes per hour. EREMA offers these systems with a throughput of up to 4.5 tonnes per hour.

In order to withstand the high abrasiveness of the contaminated input material over the long term,
CHEMAREMA® systems feature a design that is significantly more robust. “The specifications for
wear resistance and temperature resilience are increasing,” says Klaus Lederer. “We are working
on new materials and extruder screw concepts that can handle these challenges even better. More
specific information on this will be presented at the K trade fair in October.”

Edvanced Recycling powered by EREMA

The current campaign Edvanced Recycling – EREMA Prime Solutions for Advanced Recycling sees
EREMA present a wide range of advanced plastics recycling solutions. More than 40 years of
experience, combined with practical application expertise, are the basis for EREMA systems
consistently delivering high-quality recycled pellets to meet precise quality specifications, from food
and cosmetic grade to more straightforward applications. Edvanced Recycling shows how EREMA is
working together with its customers to sustainably increase the proportion of recycled materials used
to make new plastic products.
EREMA Group well underway despite challenging market

In a market environment that faces economic uncertainty, the EREMA Group maintains its position as a leading provider of plastics recycling solutions. The Group’s installed systems and components enabled the recycling of around 26 million tonnes of plastic waste worldwide during the financial year 2024/25, which closed at the end of March. Group revenue reached EUR 330 million.

Ansfelden, 4 June 2025 – Economic and geopolitical uncertainty around the world continues to present challenges for the plastics recycling industry. Despite a decline in sales of around 13 per cent compared to the previous year, the EREMA Group has maintained stability and set an important strategic course for the future based on its strong market presence.

The technologies and solutions offered by the companies in the EREMA Group mean that it covers the entire value chain of mechanical plastics recycling. “By combining our expertise, together we ensure our customers remain competitive in a dynamic market environment,” says Manfred Hackl, CEO of the EREMA Group. This is a success factor that is reflected in the broad range of products, as well as in high system availability and the quality of service provided by the Group. Despite the current challenges, there is still plenty of potential for growth, as Manfred Hackl explains: “More and more high-quality products are made from recycled pellets. The plastics industry has recognised that the proportion of recycled materials used in new products needs to continue to increase in order to achieve our shared goal of circularity.”

Development and market potential

While the European market has been subdued, the Group experienced positive momentum in North America and Asia. Regulations such as the PPWR (packaging and packaging waste directive), which has come into force in the EU, also give a positive outlook in Europe, provided that competitiveness can increase again. “This would mean launching initiatives that combine ecological and economic interests and strengthen the industrial base, like the Clean Industrial Deal in the EU. Just as important are global developments that create reliable framework conditions, such as the rollout of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and legal requirements for mandatory use of recycled materials in new products,” says Manfred Hackl.

Recently, the EREMA Group has noticed a reluctance to invest in the polyolefins post-consumer segment. On the other hand, demand for recycling solutions for production waste and bottle-to-bottle applications has remained stable. There is a clear trend towards implementing larger-scale machines in both the PET and PO sectors. The increasing industrialisation of these sectors requires solutions that are cost-effective and can be easily adapted to meet demand. The EREMA Group supports its customers during this transformation process and continues to set standards in the industry. The joint venture with Lindner Washtech has proven to be an important development in providing efficient overall solutions along the value chain.

The ongoing growth of plastics recycling can be seen not only in the established segments, but also increasingly in newer application segments involving chemical recycling, and fibre & textile recycling. EREMA started up its first large-scale extruders for chemical recycling during the 2024/25 financial year. The development of fibre-to-fibre recycling also looks very promising. Initial pilot projects have already been carried out, and an EREMA reference system will start operation later this year. The commissioning of a recycling machine for post-consumer textiles by PURE LOOP, one of the Group’s subsidiaries, at Salvation Army Trading Company in spring 2024, marks a new milestone. The project won the Plastics Industry Award.

Extensive investment and strengthening the sales structure

At the end of the 2024/25 financial year, the EREMA Group completed a comprehensive investment programme spanning the last five years with a volume of EUR 145 million. “Part of this programme involved the Group’s own component manufacturing company 3S, which has been optimised with an investment of EUR 23 million to significantly increase the in-house production share of key components and strengthen the Group’s supply chain over the long term,” reports Horst Wolfsgruber, CFO of the EREMA Group. EREMA has also strengthened its international sales structure by appointing Christoph Wöss as Global Sales Director in April. In future, the strategic focus will be aligned even more closely with the specifics of regional demand as well as market and customer requirements.

Despite challenging market conditions, the EREMA Group still focuses on the ongoing development of efficient recycling solutions in all sectors. “We are convinced that the demand for recycling technologies will keep increasing in the coming years,” says Manfred Hackl. “The framework conditions remain challenging, but the usage of plastic will continue to increase. The only way to meet this demand responsibly is with reliable recycling.”

Production of an extruder screw at 3S.
New EREMA polyolefin plant outputs more than 4 tonnes per hour

Premiere at EREMA: the new INTAREMA® 2325 sees the world’s leading manufacturer of plastics recycling systems grow its post-consumer series to enter a new dimension in recycling. The INTAREMA® 2325 T-VEplus® RegrindPro® with laser filter is the largest system ever built to recycle polyolefin regrind and marks a milestone in the very latest recycling technology.

Ansfelden, 16 October 2024 – As the demand for recycled plastics increases, so does the need for larger recycling machines. This is an industry where EREMA can draw on a wealth of proven experience. In the PET sector, the machine manufacturer has already implemented several projects with large-scale systems of this magnitude featuring their VACUREMA® technology. Now the company is following that up in polyolefin recycling. The new size of INTAREMA® is EREMA’s response to market demand. “New legislation and the voluntary commitment of major product brands mean that in the future, our customers will need to process an increasing volume of plastic waste to make high quality recycled pellets without any compromises,” says Markus Huber-Lindinger, Managing Director at EREMA. “The INTAREMA® 2325 is our answer to this need.”

More recycled pellets per hour

The INTAREMA® generation of machines is EREMA’s flexible series for handling a wide variety of feed materials. Available in 13 sizes for film and 9 sizes for regrind applications, the INTAREMA® range covers a broad spectrum. The new 2325 model with a preconditioning unit (PCU) diameter of 2.30 metres and an extruder screw with a diameter of 250 millimetres enables the production of high volumes of high-quality recycled pellets using a single machine. “With a throughput of over 4,000 kilograms per hour for PO regrind, the INTAREMA® 2325 sets new standards in terms of performance and efficiency,” emphasises Huber-Lindinger. The system also impresses with its compact footprint in contrast to its high throughput capacity.

Consistent processes combined with a high level of automation

The plant is packed with innovative technology. The proven key principle of the TVEplus® Counter Current® system lies in melt filtration upstream of extruder degassing. This makes it possible to produce recycled pellets of impressively high quality, meaning that the proportion of recycled plastics used in the final product can be significantly higher than with lower-quality recycled pellets. “Our extensive trials with around 500 tonnes of material have shown that the INTAREMA® 2325 impresses with high-quality recycled pellets at high throughput rates, all within a very stable process,” says Sophie Pachner, R&D Manager for Process Engineering at EREMA.

Like all INTAREMA® systems, this one is also equipped with patented Counter Current® technology. The plastic material moves through the preconditioning unit in the opposite direction to the extruder screw, ensuring a consistently high output over a wide temperature range. This system, combined with a high degree of automation thanks to the intelligent Smart Start® user interface and energy-saving ecoSAVE® technology, makes the INTAREMA® series particularly user-friendly and efficient.

Largest laser filter ever

“We are convinced that the INTAREMA® 2325 is capable of achieving very high throughputs even with challenging process parameters,” says Huber-Lindinger. “This machine is further proof of our company’s outstanding engineering capabilities and our willingness and expertise to solve major challenges in plastics recycling.”

Many of the specially built, large-scale components were installed and matched together for the first time during this project, such as 690-volt motors and the largest laser filter system ever built by EREMA. The 2/406 Quattro Laser Filter has a total filter area of 7,800 square centimetres and contributes to the high stability of the plant thanks to its robust design and precision filtration. The control panel array is also something new. At 12 metres long, the electrical container is imposing, but it is compact relative to the size of the machine. The well-thought-out configuration makes prior installation, transport and maintenance work particularly straightforward.

Machine available at short notice

EREMA offers machines for all applications, from small through to XXL sizes. From small systems for production waste with a throughput of around 100 kilograms per hour to large-scale PET systems with an output of 6,000 kilograms per hour, the company’s product range covers the whole spectrum. “The INTAREMA® 2325 fits perfectly into our wide product portfolio and enables us to respond even more specifically to the needs of our customers,” says Huber-Lindinger.

The INTAREMA® 2325 T-VEplus® RegrindPro® is the largest machine ever built for PO regrind and achieves
a throughput of over 4 tonnes per hour.
POWERFIL receives Plastics Recycling Award Europe 2024

DischargePro control system wins award at PRSE in Amsterdam

At PRSE in Amsterdam, the DischargePro control system from EREMA’s POWERFIL business unit was presented with the Plastics Recycling Award Europe in the “Recycling Machinery Innovation of the Year” category. The smart technology for the EREMA laser filter improves process stability over the entire operating period and reacts automatically to fluctuations during the recycling process.

Ansfelden, June 21, 2024 – “We have put a lot of effort into developing this technology. I am therefore particularly delighted to accept this award on behalf of the entire team today,” says Robert Obermayr, Head of the POWERFIL business unit at EREMA, at PRSE 2024 in Amsterdam. The DischargePro system automatically compensates for fluctuations in the input material, thereby ensuring uniform thickening during melt filtration and thus a consistent process. Depending on the application and contamination, POWERFIL was able to reduce melt loss by up to 50 percent with the DischargePro compared to the previous EREMA laser filter control system.

These facts convinced the jury, who described the technology as an intelligent technological advance in the extrusion process.

Significantly increased degree of automation

With the DischargePro control system, POWERFIL significantly increases the degree of automation in the filter process. The innovative discharge control system reacts to specific disruptions in the process. In this way, the speed of the scraper star is adjusted at short notice and returns to the setpoint speed as soon as the contamination peak has been discharged. Furthermore, the control system also recognizes changes in throughput and adjusts the discharge rates accordingly. In the event of a higher pressure drop across the filter screen, which is caused by a higher viscosity of the melt, DischargePro adjusts the setpoint value to ensure a consistent discharge rate. Long-term changes, such as the condition of the filter screen, are also taken into account in all adjustments.

You can contact us by clicking on Contacto – Protecnic 1967

POWERFIL receives Plastics Recycling Award Europe 2024 (erema.com)
